Entertaining the Kids while in Line
Plan your next move- While you're waiting, pull out the guide books and maps and decide where you'll be going next and what else you want to see
Shutterbugs- Buy a disposable camera for your little ones to take their own pictures. They'll truly have memories from their own experiences with these cameras
Bubbles and Stickers- As Lisa points out, pretty much all preschoolers (and younger) love bubbles and stickers. If you don't mind your shirt getting a little messy, you can use your own shirt as a canvas for the stickers - then you won't even need paper or anything to make art!
Refuel- I know even at 1 year, my son loves to eat. A great distraction is food - bring snacks (maybe leftover carrots or applesauce from an earlier meal) for the little ones to munch on during their wait.
iPod/iPhone (Droid in my house)- Download some music, tv shows, or video clips to keep the little ones entertained for the longer wait times. If you're lucky enough to have a phone with Disney apps, these will help keep them entertained while keeping the theme of the trip - Magic!

ReplyDeleteThe camera is a great idea, too! If you have the expendible cash, the kid tough cameras are really great!
