I can't even count how many times I've been to the parks. I know I've been probably over 20 times in the past 10 years with multiple trips growing up, but no exact numbers.
Luckily, with a place like Walt Disney World, there are so many experiences for me to try!
This trip includes a few new-to-me experiences:
- Magical Express - Our first trip without a car... so, we decided to stay on the monorail instead!
- Grand Floridian - I stayed there with my parents in middle school for a 3 day business trip, but Adam has never even stepped foot inside!
- Animal Kingdom Lodge - with dinner reservations for Sanaa, I'm finally planning to see the inside of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Village.. maybe we'll get to walk around both lodges!
- Character Dining - I dined in Cinderella Castle about a decade ago, back when the Cast Members referred to me as "Princess," but there were no princesses wandering about. This time, we've got an ADR at the Hollywood and Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios to enjoy breakfast with some of Noah's favorites: Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, and June and Leo from the Little Einsteins!
And, going back to an old standard - we're planning to hop off the Magical Express and head directly to the Magic Kingdom! Too early to check into our room, no need to worry about our luggage, just time to play!
Plus, thanks to the trivia books by Lou Mongello, the Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World by Susan Veness, and Steven Barret's Hidden Mickey's Guide, I've got tons of special things to be looking for!
Do you have any special new additions or trivia finds for your next trip? I'd love to hear all about them!
