Welcome to those of you joining me from CanaDisney Blog and those of you who have just hopped aboard. I am the 4th stop on our Magical Blogorail this month. I'm here to tell you about the one thing I must experience on every trip.
I hope you've enjoyed what my fellow blogorailers have shared! This is a crazy topic for me. I've done the parks in so many different ways. I've visited Walt Disney World as a child with family, as a high schooler with my classmates (marching band!), as a college student with friends, and now as a mother with a loving husband and son.
Every trip has been so completely different that I can't come up specific thing I have to experience. I don't crave dole whips round the clock, nor do I want a Mickey Bar when it's cold outside. As much as I love those margarita's in Mexico and the wine in Italy, I toured the parks pregnant and didn't miss them (too much), or the big rides that I couldn't ride either.
The one thing I must experience is simple: Main Street, U.S.A.

A trip isn't complete and hasn't even truly started until I step into the Magic Kingdom. I love seeing Cinderella castle in all of it's splendor.
Just the first view of the castle when I walk into the park makes me giddy like a child. But, it's not just the castle. Main Street, U.S.A. is so.. breathtaking. The different stores, all ready for the 4th of July Celebrations, decorated for their times (yes, times Main Street begins around 1890 and as you walk down the street, you travel to maybe 1910.. the stores, lamps, and decor changes for the periods!). The windows, filled with their magic and telling stories and memorializing those who made the magic happen, the people of main street, the musicians, everything.
A trip is not complete without at least one trip down Main Street, U.S.A.
Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail is Cooking with Mickey.

LOVE IT! main Street is one of my must dos too! I could spend HOURS exploring this area!
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought about Main Street, but I love walking down here too. I love shopping in all the stores and just people watching in this area!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely ADORE Main Street - so I agree!
ReplyDeleteSo true! No matter what time we arrive at Walt Disney World our first stop is Main Street. And I cry every stinkin time!
ReplyDeleteYou are so correct about Main Street. I especially wait for the musical welcome entertainment every visit; I can't start my vacation without it. Then it's over to the Main Street Bakery, since there are no calories at Disney.
ReplyDeleteMain Street is a big favorite of ours too. Usually on our first night at WDW we briefly visit the Magic Kingdom after dinner, and stick to Main Street and just soak in the Disney magic!
ReplyDeleteI personally love the feeling I get the first time I walk down Main Street on the first day of my trip. I get teary eyed each trip even though I have gone yearly since I was a kid!
