Who doesn't love change? Well, I've got a little sad news...
Mel from a Disney Lifestyle Blog has turned in her resignation.
Okay, or in the forms of Disney Blogs, she sent me a message on twitter. Unfortunately, Mel doesn't have time for extra blogging anymore. Totally understandable - as she originally starting writing for me after I put out a plea for help on Twitter when I realized the DBB co-founder didn't have the time to blog anymore.
So, sadly, no more Thursdays with Mel. Instead, I'll hopefully have some other, occasional guest bloggers, and other randomness!
So I'm using today's post to say that I've taken the pledge. This shouldn't actually change a darn thing - but it's a pledge to only post guaranteed truths.
For me - I'm blogging to help other parents traveling with little ones, or to entertain other Disney lovers.
If I review something, I promise to be honest. I hope I never have a product I don't actually enjoy - that would be a tricky situation! But, if I recommend something, please know that in my opinion, it's a great product, or at least worth the value.
I hope to continue blogging with integrity and hope you enjoy it!
But, I will continue to look to others for rumors ;-)

Jenn, that is sad news about Mel, but what you offer on your site is always great and I look forward to your reviews and thoughts!

Jenn, i'm a huge fan of your blog, and I'd like to think I'm only a huge fan of those who show their integrity through their posts. I always know that what I'm reading from you is truthful (and still enjoyable) which is why I keep coming back for more!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Mel, but I sooo understand. it's hard enough keeping up with your own stuff. I wish her the best with her new nursing gig and also with keeping up with her own blog. I also look forward to your entertaining randomness! :-)
I'm really sorry to hear that about Mel but I totally understand. I have found it difficult sometimes getting it all done with kids, wife, and working outside the home. I love your blog, the posts are informative and fun. I took the pledge too and if you need any help I would be happy to offer what I know.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words. I have started training for a new nursing gig. I'll still be around (on twitter, here & my own blog) , I just need to cut back on some commitments until I get the hang of working outside of the house again.
