I Don't Get It..

Welcome to those of you joining me from The CanaDisney Blog and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

Pic borrowed from Chip and Co!
I just don't get it.  This ride always has a huge line and stays crowded all day long.  It is one of 3 "E-Ticket" attractions at EPCOT and of the 3, the only one I actually enjoy is Soarin'.  Though, from what I understand, most people don't enjoy Mission: Space, so I didn't choose that attraction.

Instead, Test Track.  I can see the attraction to first timers, but to do the same tests over and over?

I remember seeing on a special edition Magical Blogorail where the teenagers wrote in, a couple mentioned that this is one of their favorites.  Maybe I aged out of this attraction?

It's not on our regular touring plan and only ride it once every few years.  Maybe when Noah is old enough, I'll enjoy seeing his joy, but for now?  I'll sit this one out.

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Cooking with Mickey.

Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:

  1. Agreed! The fun part of the ride goes by way too quickly. It'll be interesting to see what changes the upcoming refurb brings.

  2. I don't ride it so Drew does the single rider and doesn't wait very long. He enjoys it but its not a favorite.

  3. We LOVE this ride! Hubby LOVES Mission Space but I sit that one out...I just don't like it. I just love how Disney has something for everyone. :0)

  4. I haven't been on it before so I definitely want to try it out. But I can see how it wouldn't be a must do every single time with the same tests. I'm excited to try it, though. :)

  5. Agreed! The DSs like it but it's not a must must do for me. It could do with a new look.

  6. My hubby and I rode this once, using the single rider line. It was fun; but certainly not something I'd go back for again and again. My kids have it on our "must do" list for our next trip, so we shall see.

  7. I agree with you. It's not that it's a bad ride but it's not on my 'must do' list. And I think you may be right, it may be our age. ; )

  8. I think it's a fun ride, but not worth the long wait time. I can definitely see why kids are attracted to it though, it's fast and loud. I remember years ago the first time I heard the car racing around the outside loop I was like "I have to ride that!". LOL! Soarin' is definitely the best ride that Epcot offers, hands down.

I agree - I think it would be interesting once or twice, but I don't see a lot of repeatability in this ride.

  10. We do Test Track every now and then, but only in the single rider line. Agreed, no way would I wait in line to do it...

  11. If I didn't have a 6 year old obsessed with cars, I would probably skip this one too. Though I just saw someone mention that this is a great ride to experience at night. Maybe to change it up a bit, I will test it out next trip to see if that makes a difference. Otherwise, the only thrill from this attraction for me is Joey's face! :-)

  12. I love this ride and to me it's worth the wait. Usually not to long but sometimes we ride as single people to go faster in the cue.. One time we did get in the same car on the single person cue..
