Tiggerific Trivia Tuesday!

Welcome back for another:

As always, thanks again to my co-hosts Jodi from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, Mike from My Dreams of Disney, and Heidi from What's Going on in Heidi's Head

Did you know:
Epcot celebrates the holidays with Holidays Around the World.  But, instead of a religious story, China tells the story of The Monkey King (Su Wukong), a literary figure from the 16th century.  The Monkey King Festival is celebrated in September and brings the Tao concept of immortality and the Buddhist concept of Rebirth.

  1. That is very interesting! One of these days we'll make it to WDW during the holidays and get to hear all of the stories. Thanks for co-hosting Tiggerific Tuesday!

  2. Nope - I had no clue. We haven't yet experienced Christmas at Disney - but we hope to next year! I love that you're so full of China trivia now!

  3. Well then we missed The Monkey King! Did you learn about the story while you were there?? SO interesting- thank Jenn!!

  4. Another great bit of Disney trivia I did not know! I would love to enjoy World Showcase during the holiday season one of these years!
