Run Disney Packing List

Back when we first started this blog, Melissa wrote out her packing lists.  Our needs are a bit different and she tends to bring more than I do, but her list is definitely a great complete list, as listed solely for her daughter at the time.

I'm going to do our packing list in stages..  to start, here is our race packing list.  Doing races both days (though the 5k is more of a nice stroll through the World Showcase), we have to make sure we bring everything.  Our first year, I actually left my running team shirt at hoe and had to run in Adam's!

So, without further ado:

runDisney Packing List: 

  • Running Shoes/wear extra pair of running shoes on plane
  • Running socks - 2 pairs each
  • Running Skirt for 5k/capris for half, 2 pairs shorts/pants for Adam
  • Running Team Shirts - 2 each plus for the kids
  • Running bras
  • Stinger Bars - 4 (1 for both of us each day)
  • Stinger Wafers - for Adam
  • Stinger Bites for me - they're our favorite race food... can you tell?
  • Headband/hairtie/clips
  • Headphones
  • Spibelt/other race belt... use it or not, tba
  • Compression Socks for post race
  • Gloves, hats, long sleeve ts/fleeces to keep us warm before we run and to toss when we're en route
  • Knee brace (for me)
  • Ankle Brace (for me - post race)
  • Running watches/chargers - Adam uses a Motorola Activ and I have a Garmin
  • Body Glide
  • Chapstick *always on me*
