Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia!

It's time for more fun Disney Trivia!! Thanks for Jodi, Mike, and Heidi for hosting again and letting me take last week off while I enjoyed some fun in the Disney sun!

Did you know:
The Rivers of America at the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland used to have a boat ride known as the "Mike Fink Keel boats."  While I can't actually remember seeing them, they left the MK in 2001 and Disneyland in 1996.  The Mike Fink Keel boats were based on the Walt Disney Television shows and, later, movies "Davy Crockett's Keel Boat Race."

*A Keel Boat is a type of usually long, narrow, cigar-shaped river boat*

Though they are now gone, they are not forgotten - next time you're over at Tom Sawyer Island, make sure to look for the nod to the old boat ride!

  1. I see this mentioned a lot and I can't, for the life of me, remember this ride/attraction. Oh well!

  2. Our first Disney visit didn't happen til 2006, so I missed a bunch of the old classics. It's cool how Disney keeps them alive in the subtle details!
