Reusable Mickey Bags!

On pretty much every must-have Disney packing list, you'll find Ziploc bags.  Seriously, baggies can be used for everything - from bringing snacks to outfits to medicine to toys.  Baggies are a must.

But, how about a more eco-friendly option?  And, not even just eco-friendly, but economical!  While you'll pay a little more up front, I found a great option that will last longer and they're adorable!!

My high school friend, Amanda, has a great Etsy shop filled with homemade goodies - reuseable bags of all sizes (snack, sandwich, large), towels, bibs - and it's all customizable!  While we were "chatting" on facebook a few month ago, we decided that she should find some Mickey fabric and make a few for me to share with my readers (and for me, of course!).

She sent me 2 - 1 for each of my boys :)

   

I've seen different versions of these, but none with the pattern that I would choose - until now!  The best part is that the inside has great lining to keep crumbs or protect from drips.

The outer is 100% cotton print.
Lined with a laminated rip stop nylon:-food safe-waterproof-mold and mildew resistant-BPA free-Phthalate free
This fabric is used because it is more waterproof than regular rip-stop nylon, and it is tested food safe, unlike most PUL. The laminated side does not touch your food.
All Cute Little Bugs products now come with a label tag. Use the back of the tag to write your child's name!

About the closures:
Snaps - Long lasting, durable and cute. Do not show wear and not effected by frequent laundering, also will no stick to other items in laundry. Most children 4 and older can manage them independently. All snap closure bags have a fold over top to prevent spills.
Zipper - Easy to manage for most children over 3. Launders well, long lasting and visually appealing. Will not stick to other items in laundry/ Creates a full closure of the bag.
Velcro - On snack bags, velcro is a small piece to secure the fold over top. Most children over 2-3 can manage it independently. On sandwich and quart bags, velcro is a full strip along the top and there is no fold over. This creates a full closure of the bag. Most children 4 and older can manage it independently. Pull tabs can be added to these velcro

Recommended washing instructions: Machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low or hang dry.
