Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia

I love the monorails, don't you?

Did you know:

The Walt Disney World Monorail.. 

Operates over a span of 14.7 miles, connecting EPCOT, the Magic Kingdom , and the TTC as well as the Magic Kingdom resorts.

They opened in 1971 with the Mark IV monorail system and updated in the MarkVI in 1989.  In 2007, Disneyland monorail switched from the MarkV to Mark VII without ever seeing the Mark VI.

    Love riding the monorails! I never noticed when they changed over. I guess I am always too busy enjoying the ride.

    Very interesting! I do like the WDW ones that have the option to stand better than the shorter, sit-down only ones at DL. Of course, I really shouldn't judge since I haven't been to DL, but the Mark VI just looks more spacious :)
