Welcome to those of you joining me from A Disney-Lovin' Spectrum Mom and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail.
Walt Disney World is not a place filled with terrifying attractions. Though for youngsters, there are plenty of coasters that can seem incredibly scary, I generally laugh and smile while on Space Mountain and other attractions.
But, there are two attractions that scare me!
I shared the one that makes me scream the most last month with the Magical Blogorail Blue, but there is another one that scares me more:
Dinosaur
No lie! Dark Places and Scary Dinosaurs for sure!
There is that ONE place in the ride- I know it's fake. I know they're animatronics. And, I'm still scared!
Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is The Disney Kids.

Our son wanted his cousin to go on the ride with him, so he told her it was just like it's a small world except with Dinosaurs. Needless to say we got a priceless on ride picture of the fear in her face :)
ReplyDeleteDinosaur is dark, scary and LOUD! I think the loudness is just as frightening to children as the dark!
ReplyDeleteThere is a classic photo from Dinosaur of me hiding my head. All you can see is a red pigtail. I was 24.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't go on this ride at all. It does me in!
ReplyDelete...and it's also rough if you are susceptible to motion sickness!! My poor niece hates Disnosaur for that reason
ReplyDeleteFirst off I just wanna say I LOVE your blog! Second I couldn't believe I couldn't believe how sick I got on this ride. I don't think I'll be riding it again, but my 10 year old loved it!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much!! It’s really nice to hear that you like the blog! It’s a labor of love - and a lot of time/work (though sometimes I slack!!). My 4 year old REALLY wants to see the dinosaurs, but I’m pretty sure he would be terrified - I absolutely believe the sickness - it’s a mess!! Beware- if you head to California, the ride vehicles are the same for Indiana Jones, though I’ve heard over and over that it’s a better attraction overall - BUT if the vehicles were the problem, beware!!

My kids STILL won't go on Dinosaur. My son went at age 4 and was terrified. We tried it again at around 10 and he still didn't like it. He is now 13 and hasn't gone on it again.
ReplyDeletewow that really stuck with him!! I definitely won’t be taking my 4 year old!
