Monster Jam - DC!

A few months back, I took my now 4 year old son, his best friend from school, and his mom to see Disney on Ice.  We loved the show and came home with a few souvenir (how can you leave anything Disney without a souvenir or two?) – one being the program from the show.

The program has become one of our regular books – the story of the show is written out as a great bedtime story with small poems for each series of the show.  And, the end of the book is filled with pictures and descriptions of other performances put on by the same company, FELD Entertainment.

There are two of those that stuck out like a sore thumb to Noah – one for Phineas and Ferb Live on Stage (sadly, no longer on tour), and the other – for Monster Jam – a monster truck rally.  I’m not really sure where the monster truck love came from (my childhood in West Virginia, maybe – I remember watching the shows and paying monster truck video games as a child), but he LOVES monster trucks.  Books, clothes, youtube/Netflix videos – they have excited him for years.

So, when I received an email from my local Feld rep offering the opportunity to review the show – I knew we had to take advantage of it.  Coming thru DC at the end of January, Monster Jam will take up the Verizon Center for a weekend of loud, fun-filled excitement: little boy heaven.

  2. So, not to brag or anything, but I won the Disney on Ice tickets! It was awesome and my family had a great time. My now 16-yr-old was a great sport and came along with his 3-yr-old sister. How awesome would it be to win these tickets and pay him back while the whole family has another great time!

  3. I really want to see this with my son who is 3 and my husband. They love Monster Trucks and last year we all went to M&T Bank stadium aka Ravens Stadium in Baltimore,MD and I couldn't tell who was having a better time. They loved bonding and I loved watching them. Now that my son is almost 4 he would be over the moon excited to go to this now.
