Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia

Welcome back for more fantastic Disney Trivia!  Thanks again to Jodi from +Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, Heidi from +Heidi's Head, and +Mike Ellis for co-hosting!
Gotta love those Balloons

Did you know:

The original Disney balloons were tied with a technique called "spin-tie" and at the end of the day, the balloons that weren't sold would be untied and tossed into a clothes dryer to deflate!!  They would then fill them up the next day to be sold.  Those in the know referred to them as "re-blows"

  1. How interesting! I actually had wondered what they did with the ones they didn't sell.

  2. Interesting! Though I'd expect them to melt in the dryer. They must have just had them on the "fluff" cycle. LOL

  3. I just recently heard this as well. I'd have to admit if I was a balloon seller it would be hard for me not to just let the unsold ones go and watch them sail over the castle.

  4. That's fascinating! I wonder how they'd untie them to inflate them again. Very interesting!
